Happy Easter - SFW
“I don’t see any point to celebrating Easter.” David told his brother over the phone while staring out his window at the busy city street below. His place was a small bachelor apartment over a tiny corner grocery store. It was a far cry from his grandparent's farm, which he always seemed to pine for around spring. “Wasn’t this your favorite holiday?” Mel asked him, and David sighed, feeling burned out from working two jobs for a crappy place in a large city that didn’t seem to want them. “Yeah, but things change.” David said, shrugging and watching the start of a spring rain hitting the window. He used to decorate and go all out to celebrate and invite the Easter rabbit into his home. Up until a few years ago, when he moved into the city, he had always found hidden eggs around his place. It always made him so happy. It was probably his brother, David, who shivered with a bitter cold that was soaking into his permanently sun-kissed skin that made him feel like he should be warmer
